We are currently searching
for the following:
Master Carpenter
Advanced construction and rigging skills as well
as previous experience required. Must be creative, flexible, work well
with others, and have the ability to successfully work with the technical
director to supervise crew calls for construction and load in. Successful
applicants will be contracted per show.
Master Electrician
Responsibilities
include: running calls needed to cable, hang and focus lights and projection
equipment, work closely with the technical director to determine logistic,
budgetary and scheduling needs for each show, work with the lighting
designer, have the ability to program light board. Thorough knowledge
of standard theatrical practices, operation of computer light boards,
and truss required. Individual must be flexible, have good time management
skills. Successful applicants will be contracted per show.
Properties Master
Responsibilities include acquiring, building, buying and altering
props, stock maintenance. Applicant must be skilled in prop shopping,
crafts, woodworking and painting. Strong organization, telephone, computer
and time management skills are necessary as well as knowledge of period
styles. Flexible schedule, valid driver's license required. Successful
applicants will be contracted per show.
Wardrobe Master/Mistress
We are seeking an experienced individual
to serve as Wardrobe Supervisor. Duties include: running shows; assisting
actors with changes; maintaining and cleaning costumes during show runs;
striking show at closing; producing and updating wardrobe paperwork;
supervising other wardrobe personnel when applicable; some work with
make-up and wigs. The Wardrobe Supervisor also works in the costume shop
between shows as a stitcher or craftsperson or in stock, maintaining
and preparing rental costume packages. Skills and experience required:
flexibility, strong people and organizational skills, sewing skills,
computer skills; some makeup and wig skills preferred; knowledge of Actors'
Equity Association rules a plus. Three years or more experience as wardrobe
person is preferred. Part-time, hourly position.

These positions are part-time and will be filled according

Southern California area.
